Idli Karam podi is a traditional home made following age-old techniques that my Grand mother taught me. Adding this podi with ghee makes a delectable combination in a hot plate of rice, idli, dosa and other breakfast items.

Chana dal (Pachi Senagapappu), Urad Dal (Minapappu), Cumin seeds (Jeelakara), Coriander seeds (Dhaniyalu), Sesame Seeds(Nuvulu), Garlic (Velluli), Tamarind (Chinthapandu), Red chili powder, Groundnut oil, Salt, Curry leaves (Karivepaku)
