A strong Single-origin leaf tea from the blue mountains - Nilgiri Tea
The Nilgiri Mountains form the border between the southern states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka, but are predominately within the District of Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. Also called the blue mountain tea, this Nilgiri black tea is stronger in the cup than Darjeeling and Assam. Nilgiri tea is variously described as being light but full-bodied or well-rounded in flavor, with fruit, like citrus, and floral notes.
