Low glycemic index of Jowar is a good reason for diabetics to include jowar in their daily diet. Jowar is a rich source of B Vitamins and folic acid.
Ingredients:
Jawar flour, Black gram flour, Green gram flour, Fenugreek, and Spices.
Cooking Method
Add 1 cup of Jowar Dosa mix in a bowl and add 1 to 1 ½ cup water, mix well to get the batter without lumps.
Keep batter aside for minimum 2 hours.
Add salt, pinch of cooking soda and little water to get the dosa consistency.
Heat tava, sprinkle water on tava, spread batter on medium flame, add 1 spoon oil or ghee along the sides.
Roast till brown, spread onion pieces and serve with onion with redchilly chutney or Potato and tomato curry.
